Runhui New Material Co.,Ltd was set up in April 2004, is a national high-tech enterprise who has been committed to the research and development, production and sales of silica aerogel and its composites. Runhui now not only owns 32,000 square meters plant area and all kinds of auxiliary facilities, but automatic production lines with annual output aerogel 3,000,000 square meters. It is the earliest, biggest and most reliable developer and manufacturer of nanoporous thermal insulation material “silica aerogel” in China.
As the main drafter of the National Standard of Reinforced Nanoporous Aerogel Products for Thermal Insulation, Runhui has been evaluated by authoritative experts composed of academicians from two academies, the technology of Runhui is at the international advanced level, filling the domestic gap, and owning independent intellectual property. Up to December 2018, Runhui has obtained 28 invention patents, 6 utility model patents, has passed Quality Management System Certificate, Environment Management System Certificate, Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certificate, has acquired high-tech product certification of Zhejiang Province.
The R&D Department has a team consisted of well-known experts, professors, doctors etc., equipped with High Precision Thermal Conductivity Tester, High Temperature Thermal Conductivity Tester, Gas Chromatograph, Thermal Analyzer, Material Mechanics Testing Machine and other advanced equipment about thermal insulation.
The aerogel project of Runhui has been included in hundreds of key projects of circular economy development in Zhejiang Province, the key industrial projects of Important Science & Technology Projects in Zhejiang Province, and the special project “R&D and application demonstration project for key technical equipment about fire protection of special structures” in the important national R&D plan “public safety risk prevention and control and emergency technical equipment” etc., among them, the project “Development and application demonstration for sets of thermal insulation and flame-retardant building materials” which was cooperated with Tongji University, was listed as the national “Twelfth Five-Year Science and Technology Support Program”.
